“He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.” - Isaiah 53:8

“Redemption for mankind was finished at the cross - but it's not where we're finished. It's where we begin!” - Jesse Duplantis

Read the Bible Aloud

 Read the Bible Aloud
Most Bibles I know of have new lines starting in random positions depending on the column width. I wondered if it would be easier to read with the line break at the punctuation marks. So, I did it. Meanwhile, I noticed that some punctuation marks were too far apart and added my own line breaks where appropriate. I hope you find it useful. Enjoy! P.S. - Go to the Settings page under the hamburger menu and select the option, "Format text to read aloud (makes for reading with less mistakes)".

Bible Text to Numbers

 Bible Text to Numbers
This update is very satisfying. If you love numbers, you'll love this feature. You can now read the Bible with numbers, in place of text. Instead of reading "a thousand three hundred four score and five." It reads 1,385. This option can be found in the settings found under the hamburger menu. Enjoy!

Bible Paragraphs Revamped

 Bible Paragraphs Revamped
Endeavoring to make the paragraph breaks in the online Bible more consistent, 1215 paragraph breaks have been added and 486 removed. My hopes are that this makes reading the Bible easier on the eye and even that much more enjoyable to read. I hope you enjoy this latest update! BTW, the paragraphs can be turned on or off in the settings found under the hamburger menu.

Bible Update

 Bible Update
The King James Online Bible has been updated with some cool features. It now looks much better on a mobile device (should have updated that a decade ago). Cookies are no longer used to store the settings. The settings are in the URL. This means that a link can be sent to someone and they will be looking at what you're looking at. The font size can be increased for the half-blind folk. And the font can be decreased if you're looking for more text on one page. The cross-references can be hidden for reading the Bible with less distractions. Speaking of distractions, the verse numbers can also be turned off. Enjoy!

Bible Timeline

 Bible Timeline
A new Bible timeline page has been added to the site. I wanted to have the Bible timeline of the Old Testament on a 8-1/2 by 11 sheet of paper. This way it can be folded in half and pulled out for reference while reading. After reading Floyd Jones Chronology of the Bible, there was more than enough information to work with. The book is based completely on the KJ V, not on "scholarly" sources or even private interpretations. If you love the Bible, I would recommend reading this work. A PDF download link is available on the new page.

False Gospel Sweep

 False Gospel Sweep
Wow, I just finished updating the site. I haven't looked at the content on this site for months. It was probably over a year ago! Times have changed and so have I. There were links to different sites that preach a cellophane covered works based gospel. You know, the repent of your sins or be willing to repent of your sins to be saved crowd. There was also a link to one guy who is falling away from the truth, as the Bible so rightly predicted the path of many. I could hardly believe my eyes! I took that stuff down so quick, my head is still spinning.

Apparently, developers like myself, build it and forget it. Its my second MO, out of site out of mind. I'm not promising anymore content updates, but I would at least like to share the new Bible reading plan I started (It only works with the KJV, btw:).
